  • 1. Installing WordPress
    • Using Simple Scripts from cpanel
  • 2.
    • From cpanel you will find an icon Simple Scripts under the software/Service section. To start click on the icon, this is the easiest and fastest way to install a wordpress site.
  • 3.
    • From the Simply Script screen click the wordpress icon under Blogs section.
  • 4.
    • To begin you will need to click on Install button. You also have the option to import an existing installation however we will not be reviewing this for this demo.
  • 5.
    • Here you will find Step 1 - 3
    • Step 1: You have the option to select the version of wordpress you want to install. I would suggest the latest version.
    • Then you will need to select where you would like wordpress installed.
  • 6.
    • Step 2: Advanced Options
    • These options include administrative privileges, database configuration, and more. These changes are optional and in most case do not need to be changed.
    • Step 3: Legal Information
    • Check the box and click on the Complete button.
  • 7.
    • You will then be able to see the installation progress, once completed you see a green X with the words Installation Complete! Below this you will see the information to access your new wordpress site. Be sure to keep this information in a safe place so that you can refer back to it.
  • 8.
    • Here is what you will see once when you have completed the installation.
