Good Stuff Happens in 1:1 Meetings: Why you need them and how to do them well
Presentation Asg London Power Point 2003version 11 08 2010
1.
2. ASG London opened in 2004 as a sole trading company by the name of SK Lifts & Engineering, after
trading for almost two years, SK Lifts became a Limited company.
During this time SK Lifts worked with ASG Berlin; a Lift Installation company located in Germany.
ASG Berlin supplied engineers when SK’s own labour force was not enough to manage the
increasing number of contracts agreed.
This was a good mix, for both companies, however during this time ASG Berlin was suffering
financial obstacles from previous years due to the economic climate in Germany.

3. Although SK Lifts provided ASG Berlin
with a large quantity of contracts, these
were not enough, and ASG Berlin was on
the brink of Foreclosure.
SK Lifts had a decision to make; were
they stable enough to purchase ASG
Berlin, keeping them from foreclosure,
whilst at the same time maintaining
their own financial stability?
Hamburg
It was decided that ASG Berlin would be
completely purchased by Mr. Ahmet
Kusderci, and continue to work with SK London
Lifts & Engineering. Algeria
To keep continuity SK Lifts changed it’s
name to ASG London.

necessary.
Ahmet & Sophia work together in
their business.
Ahmet manages the engineering side
of the business, whilst Sophia
manages the administrative and
Health & Safety side, this
arrangement works well for both of
them.

industry in 2004, previous to this she
worked in Finance & Law in both
Canada and the UK.

12. ASG will continue to grow and expand their
branches, allowing overall stability to all ASG
locations. In the event that one branch is
slower, manpower can be moved around to
compensate where another branch has a higher
work load.
Since purchasing ASG Berlin this branch of ASG
has shown a substantial profit, and paid off all
outstanding debts.
QAH -UK
Berlin now has a staff of over 25 that is gradually
increasing to compensate the growing number of
contracts obtained by ASG Berlin.
As a result of the ever increasing demand to provide
engineers to these Middle Eastern areas, the logical
solution was to open the next ASG branch in
Istanbul, this will allow us to provide engineers
much easier than outsourcing from our London or
Berlin branches.
