As uploaded, this is a photograph of the skin developed and dissolution from the aging of coal tar DNAPL in groundwater. Basically, the dissolution is the same 25 mg/l oil and grease that you see in the influent from DNAPL recovery systems, mostly naphtalene, also, makes the case for pulse operation of these systems.
