Governor William BradFord SENT 4 MEN TO HUNT BIRDS 53 COLONISTS AND 90 WAMPANOAG It was attended by for the feast. 2nd MONDAY IN OCTOBER 1ST THURSDAY IN NOVEMBER (Canada) (Liberia) LAST WEDNESDAY IN NOVEMBER (Norfolk Island) 4TH THURSDAY IN NOVEMBER (U.S.A) Thanksgiving Day is a traditional day for people to give thanks for what they have, so they get together with family and friends for a special meal. Commonly the meal includes turkey, stuffing, potatoes, cranberry sauce, gravy, pumpkin pie, and vegetables.
