  4. 4. On-Demand Enhancement: Social Media Package The objective of this document is to provide guidance on the implementation of the on-demand enhancementSocial Media Package. On-demand enhancements provide additional demo capabilities on top of the standard delivered Sales Presentation Trial Systems. On-demand Enhancements are not generally available but availability is defined separately for each enhancement. Therefore on-demand enhancements might be only available for single countries or one scope. This guide shows you how to implement the required capabilities in the Sales Presentation Trial of your choice.1 The “On-Demand Enhancement” Social Media Package gives us an overview of the list of possible business use cases that could be realized as Social Media scenarios in Business ByDesign typically implemented by making use of some of key features including; - Mashups - Extensibility - Flexibility - Emails The social media scenarios which are listed in this implementation guide are part of the second package release implemented within our Reference Systems. Version: Business ByDesign / Feature Pack 3.0 Country Coverage: Basically for all countries but also depends on availability of Social network sites in certain Countries. Industry Coverage: All No Scoping needed. Inorder to be more flexible, easy to consume and execute the Social media scenarios, we have already setup social media user accounts for our Almika model company in Reference system. Please use the same password as part of the standard Reference System and please do not change the credentials ! Social media Account sapbydalmikamc sapbydalmikamc@googlemail.com All the above accounts are mapped to our fictious model company – Almika Inc. and which are reserved only for Business ByDesign demos. Please logon with Business ByDesign key user to implement most of the Social Media scenarios described in the following sections mainly for Personalization activities(Mashups, Field Extensibility, Adaptation...)A lot of our current customers are running a Twitter account where they post news andinteresting information about their company and products. In addition this is a way todirectly communicate and discuss with existing customers or prospects.Most of them are not using a specific tool to publish their content but just do that fromthe Twitter website.Mostly it‟s also not just a single person tweeting but several people (e.g. all employeesworking in the marketing department). On-Demand Enhancement: Social Media Package With the integration of a Twitter gadget into ByDesign, these employees don‟t have to leave their ByDesign application any more but can post content directly out of their every-day-working environment. When using the Twitter search result integration in addition, they can directly react on comments from prospects and customers and engage with them even further. Also, the Twitter search gives companies the unique opportunity to see in real-time what their customers and prospects are saying about their company and products. This search can be customized to their specific needs, e.g. by searching for the company name or several different product names. Using the RSS feed feature of ByDesign allows customers to integrate those search results into their daily work environment, e.g. the Marketing or Sales Workcenter. The feed in the ByDesign Workcenter is updated automatically when new search results are available – in real time.This section will guide you on how to setup Twitter gadget for Corporate Account onMarketing work center, as an example and which is used by a marketing user. Procedure illustrates setup on Marketing work center, as an example and which is usedby a marketing user. Knowing what their customers are up to right now may help to start a conversation oreven allow the sales rep to directly help them solving a specific problem.Beside the fact that all available information should be stored in the CRM application, the mostup to date information is always found on the social network profiles of the customer contactsthemselves:They update their profile their new title in case they took over a new job in their company, theyupdate their telephone number and they may even update their status saying what they arecurrently working on and indicating their interests and hobbies. On-Demand Enhancement: Social Media Packageavailable to the public, so a connection with them on those networks is not even needed, but canbe helpful in addition.To access such those profiles and such information quickly and easily extension fields can beused to enable all sales reps to maintain a link to such a profile directly in the contact screens inByDesign.With just a single click everyone can then access the profile.This section will guide you on how to setup an Extension Field and configure or map socialaccount. Example shown here is to map social network accounts to a „Contact’.  Navigate to the Contacts screen which you would like to map the Social accounts (Work center: Account Management, View: Contacts)  Open the Contact which you would like to edit  Click on „Adapt’ and then „Enter Adaptation Mode’  Click on „Adapt‟ and then „Edit Screen‟ December 16, 2011 Page 13 of 44

Only after that theactual order or contract is sent out from the ByDesign system.To negotiate and change such a legal document with several people being involved (e.g. fromthe purchasing, quality and legal department and maybe even the supplier with the samenumber of people), collaborative document sharing and editing on platforms such as GoogleDocuments is an alternative to sending new versions back and forth via email. On-Demand Enhancement: Social Media PackageThis section will guide you on how to publish RFQs to „Twitter‟ and „Facebook‟ accounts.Pushing RFQs to social network accounts is possible within ByD by making use of emailfunctionality which is the starting point to push RFQ to the outside world.In this scenario, we make use of services from „Tarpipe‟ which allows you to develop complexworkflows for publishing content to multiple social media sites through an intuitive interface.Keeping in mind the ease of consuming these services for demo purposes, we have pre-configured workflows in Tarpipe to automatically send in a Tweet to Twitter (Almika account) oras a Feed to Facebook (Almika account).And you would just have to include these workflows while creating and publishing your RFQs. SAP StreamWork product offers collaborative decision making capabilities in the way businesses work. To know more on the product, please visit the official site. Collaboration of StreamWork Activity feeds in Business ByDesign is one of the first footprints with the overall integration capabilities between the two products. In this section, we have the following business examples of consuming the feeds, activities of StreamWork in various business environment of Business ByDesign; o StreamWork gadget integration (HTML Mashup) o StreamWork activity updates (ByDesign Extension fields) You would need to have a StreamWork user account before starting all the scenarios Integration of StreamWork gadget in ByDesign is possible wherein all the updates of an already created Activity in StreamWork are visible back in ByDesign.
