    • Technology Components Business Needs SAP ECC 6.0 on Linux 5.1 SML was not prepared to meet the company’s rapid growth needs and it was affecting with SD, PP, HCM, FICO, all areas of the business, leading to poor business performance. An increasing MM, PM and QM modules customer base and product offering developed inefficiencies within their existing system, and were not able to properly support employees or company objectives. The daily business activities were processed manually and stored in separate Excel files by the sales, production, and procurement departments. Employees were becoming increasingly overburdened by the growth and market demands of the company. SML needed to ensure that employees could readily access critical data, applications, and tools they need to perform their job functions efficiently. It also needed an end- to-end procurement and logistics business process to optimize the flow of material. With seven disparate satellite offices throughout the country, SML wanted an automated and integrated workflow solution to scale with the company as it grew. An Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution would integrate the enterprise data and processes into one single system, aligning SML with their rapid growth rate demands. YASH Technologies was chosen to implement SAP ERP, based on their Gold Channel Partner status, rapid deployment methodologies and experience with global ERP implementations. YASH Solutions The initial phase of this project involved a change management initiative for SML. Another vendor had previously implemented SAP ERP, but improper deployment methods led to inefficiencies and dissatisfaction with SML’s users. YASH worked with the client’s key stakeholders to show that SAP, with proper implementation and training, would enhance processes and productivity. After the client was confident that SAP ERP would provide superior functionality and greater ease of use, YASH implemented a client-specific solution. This included providing a customized variant configuration with Bill of Materials (BOM) and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) that re-engineered their entire HR and manufacturing processes. YASH implemented SAP ERP Financials to ensure compliance and predictability of business performance, so SML could gain a deeper financial insight across the enterprise and tighten control of finances. It also automated accounting processes and financial supply-chain management. SAP ERP Human Capital Management was deployed to optimize SML’s HR processes and maximize the potential of employees, while supporting innovation, growth and flexibility. This efficient solution automated talent management, core HR functions, and workforce deployment. SAP ERP Operations enabled SML to manage end-to-end procurement processes.
