All rights reserved. 3Public Worldwide Mobile Overview Trends The mobile market continues its steady growth, and IDC is projecting continued annual growth in subscriptions of 6% over the next five years This growth is driven by popularity of smartphones, which topped one billion units shipped during 2013 Asia-Pacific will continue to reign as the overall market leader while EMEA follows next with just over a quarter of all mobile phone shipments. Latin America is expected to extend its lead over North America in 2014

All rights reserved. 4Public Worldwide Mobile Overview Trends Broadband-capable devices will have a tremendous impact on the overall mobile ecosystem: Mobile-first strategy of deploying mobile devices to the workforce is emerging 3G will represent the majority of mobile phones shipped until 2015, but with more 4G networks going live, the number of 4G mobile phones is expected to grow 10 times faster than mobile devices overall
