    • SAP: -Systems applications products for data processing.Developed in Germany. It‟s an ERPERP: Enterprise Resource Planning:-Planning the resources in an organization is called ERP.What are the functionalities in a company?A company is having different modules like- Sales- Financials- Purchasing- Production- Human ResourcesIntegration of all the modules done by ERP – SAP.
    • Basics to startup with BASIS Administration:Computer :-A computer is a machine for manipulating data according to a list of instructions or anelectronic device for the storage and processing of information or a programmablemachine which runs with two principal characteristics as responds to a specific set of instructions in a well-defined manner. It can execute a prerecorded list of instructions (a program). ItSoftware: -Written coded commands or set of instructions that tell a computer what tasks toperform or Computer instructions or data. Anything that can be stored electronically iscalled as software. The storage devices and display devices are hardware.
    • Software is often divided into two categories:Systems software: Includes the operating system and all the utilities thatenable the computer to function. info@keylabstraining.comApplications software: Includes programs that do real work for users. Forexample, word processors, spreadsheets, and database management systemsfall under the category of applications software.Program :-An organized list of instructions that, when executed, causes the computer tobehave in a predetermined manner. Without programs, computers are useless.A program is like a recipe. It contains a list of ingredients (called variables) anda list of directions (called statements) that tell the computer what to do withthe variables. The variables can represent numeric data, text, or graphicalimages.
    • Computer Hardware :-Hardware is the physical medium built with electronic technology lies betweeninput and Output. As an example objects that you can actually touch, like disks, disk drives, displayscreens, keyboards, printers, boards, and chips. In contrast, software is untouchable. Software exists as ideas, concepts, andsymbols, but it has no substance. The distinction between software and hardware is sometimes confusing becausethey are so integrally linked.Computer Hardware devices:Random Access Memory (RAM) – The temporary storage device and part of CPUwhich is used for program execution and short term data storage, so the computerdoes not have to take the time to access the hard drive to find the file(s) it requires.More RAM will normally contribute to a faster PC. RAM is almost always removableas it sits in slots in the motherboard, attached with small clips. The RAM slots arenormally located next to the CPU socket.
    • Motherboard :– It is the main component inside of a computer designed usingelectronic technology with all circuits internally within it. It holds theprocessor, memory, and any add-in boards. Its inside the case and is thecomponent that all of your peripherals plug into. It is also called the"mainboard," or, "mobo," for short.Processor : - The exact term processor is a sub-system of a data processingsystem which processes received information after it has been encoded intodata by the input sub-system. These data are then processed by the processingsub-system before being sent to the output sub-system where they are decodedback into information. However it is usually termed as the microprocessor, thebrains of the modern day computers.Hard disk: – Its is a permanent storage area of a computer and a hardwaredevice part of CPU which can store anywhere from 20MB to more than 200GB.Hard disks are also from 10 to 100 times faster than floppy disks. It is physically a round plate, Magnetic or Optical, on which data can beencoded.
