2. Who are you working
with?
• I am working by myself to produce the music video and
artist name, digipak, etc.
3. Which artist does are you
making a video for?
• The artist I have
chosen to make a
video for is Cage the
Elephant an American
alternative rock band.
4. Which song are you
doing?
• The name of the song
is called Shake Me
Down which was
released in 2010 by
JIVE Records.
5. What is the name of your
artist?
• The name of my artist/band is Pacific Homicide as I feel
this suits the style of name for an alternative rock band.
6. Are you including
narrative, performance or
both?
• I hope to have a mix of performance as well as some
narrative as this is generic within most alternative rock
music videos.
7. What are your initial
ideas for the music
video?
• My ideas for the music video includes a character waking
up with amnesia and being chased by something and with
each drop of the music he wakes up again somewhere
different being chased by something else.
8. Do you think the idea is
appropriate with the
song?
• I think this is appropriate as the song is talking about the
loneliness of life, and if the character is solitary and is
being chased with no one to help him then this really
creates the idea that there's "not a lot of people left
around" which therefore links to the lyrics of the song.
9. Does it fit with the genre?
• My idea fits the genre as the narrative is unclear and
random ,whilst including some performance. This is a
generic convention of alternative rock music videos.
