Users canselect image size and quality settings, Auto, or High ISO, as well asMacro options. •BEST SETTING FOR BEGINNERS• Program: In the Program mode, the Canon S5 IS automaticallyselects the appropriate Aperture and Shutter Speed; all othersettings can be changed manually. ADVANCED - Do Not Use• Shutter Speed Priority: You select the Shutter Speed and thecamera automatically selects the corresponding Aperture. ADVANCED - Do Not Use• Aperture Priority: When set to Aperture Priority, you selectthe Aperture and the camera automatically sets the complementaryShutter Speed for the selected f/stop. ADVANCED - Do Not Use• Stitch Assist: Provides visual guidelines on the LCD to helpalign and shoot multiple individual images that can later be stitchedtogether into a panorama. ADVANCED - Do Not Use• Scene Mode: Provides access to the Scene Mode menu andthe following Scene modes: Night Scene, Indoor, Foliage, Snow,Beach, Fireworks, Aquarium, Color Accent (one color is retainedwhile the rest of the image is recorded in black and white), ColorSwap (a single color can be replaced by another color).
