Please feel free to contact us at any time with any questions or comments you may have while installing your new Combo/Super Drive. IMPORTANT! Before doing any work on your PowerBook, BACK UP ALL IMPORTANT DATA from your hard drive. FastMac is not responsible for any loss of data during the upgrade process!   3. 3. PowerBook G4 Titanium Combo/Super Drive Instructions Part I: Optical Drive Removal Procedure : Estimated time: 25 min. 1 2 1. Shut down the PowerBook. Unplug all 2. Frequently PowerBooks will have one or two screws that are extremely difficult to get seated fully. If you encounter resistance while inserting the screws, press the bottom case back toward the rear a bit more to alleviate the pressure on the screw, allowing it to be tight- ened for a snug fit.
