Professional Responsibilities: Engineers understand professional responsibilities primarily at the level of individuals and organizations, as specified in the codes of ethics of all engineering organizations. Though the codes differ in emphases and details, all engineering codes say that engineers should be technically competent and should continue to improve their competence.
