MatchingGrants.org is a free resource used by Rotarians worldwide to administer humanitarian projects. While the global grants work just like Matching Grants did for the past 12 years, the new district grants feature manages the internal process clubs use to apply for District Designated Funds for their projects with detailed reports and electronic signatures as well as serving as a repository for documents and reports.

  • 2. • Completely FREE • Started in 2001 • 3 sections: – Matching Grants – Global Grants – District Grants • This is NOT the Rotary International Website. The application process needs to be done on the RI Website BACKGROUND
  • 3. • Matching Grants – 2,500 projects, 100 countries • Global Grants – 710 projects, 154 districts, 61 countries • District grants – 549 projects, 45 districts, 52 countries STATISTICS
  • 4. • Who was at one of my previous Breakout Sessions? • How many have already visited the website? • How many have submitted a project as a host partner? • How many are listed on a project as an international partner? WEBSITE USAGE SURVEY
  • 5. • Submit your own projects • Make changes to your projects • Search to find a project • Pledge support to an existing project • Maintain a list of project partners • Communicate by email with project partners • Keep track of the status and history of the project • Upload documents and photos • Central location for your project, accessible 24/7 • Automatic reminder emails to make sure the database of projects is up-to-date • “My Account” page to see the list of YOUR projects OVERVIEW for both GLOBAL GRANTS and DISTRICT GRANTS
  • 6. • Automatic calculations of TRF matching in the financing section • Special form to prepare the answers to the questions in the TRF application process • Credit Card contributions to projects through a TRF Donor Advised Fund (DAF) OVERVIEW for GLOBAL GRANTS
