3. 1- Plan with the Governor of the year's RYEP activities. Invite and
make him feel belonging to part of the program committee.
1.1- Enter the RYEP calendar in the district calendar.
1.2- Ask for more space to display the program in the district
publicity and advertising instruments (Monthly Newsletter,
Information Weekly Newsletter, Website, District Facebook page.)
4. 1.3- Involvement of elected and nominee Governors in planning,
meetings and activities related to the Rotary Youth Exchange
Program.
1.4- Committee: The elected, nominee and governors of the year
should participate as RYEP member.
1.5- All elected, nominee and governors of the year should be
invited to participate in all RYEP’S activity.
5. 2- The Training Program for all Governors should necessarily
discuss RYEP:
2.1 - GETS (Governors Elect Training Seminar) - elected
Governors preparation. A suitable time to discuss the RYEP with a
senior YEO, not any trainee Rotarian.
2.2 - International Assembly in San Diego - due to the importance
of the program it has to be discussed with a senior YEO, not any
trainee Rotarian.
6. 3 – The Governor of the year event should prepare the presidents and his team
3.1 - PETS - Training Seminar for elected Presidents is an appropriate time to
discuss the RYEP with the Chair or any member of the committee.
3.2 - GATS (Governors Assistants Training Seminar) - Participate the training
of Assistant Governor.
3.3 - District Assembly - training of Rotary Club leaders - a Youth Exchange
Officer room is required.
3.4 – District Conference - Designated time to inbound presentations at the
Plenary session and theme room to discuss RYEP.
3.5- Rotary Institute: an appropriate time to discuss the RYEP with the Chair or
any member of the committee.
7. 4- Rotary Events.
4.1- Participation at the Flag Ceremony and Inbound
presentation at their Talent Show at the Rotary International
Convention.
4.2- Rotary Institute (Governors) - Designated time to discuss
RYEP at the Plenary Session.
8. 5-Conclusion
The good relationship between chairman and governor will
depend on their good relation and communication of all
RYEP actions and also respecting Rotary’s hierarchy.
The governor is the highest authority in the district
throughout the year.
