Film Research
Kill Bill: I chose to research “Kill Bill”
because the beginning of the story is
told in a flashback of how Beatrice
Kidd aka “Black Mamba” ended up
in hospital. As the story goes on she
explaining what happened and what
is going to happen as a narrator /
voice over.
Monsters: This film is an Alien
invasion / apocalyptic quarantine
film. I chose this film to be part of
my research because the ending of
the film is at the beginning and the
whole story of how they ended up
where they were. The ending of the
film is at the end as well as at the
beginning so it all makes sense of
what happened and why.

The Dark Knight: I researched into
this film because there is a
significant part in it where
Commissioner Gordon is
interrogating the Joker. This part is
important because Commissioner
Gordon knows that the Joker is not
going to talk so he leaves it to
Batman.

Film Openings/Short Films: What are the different types of film? Which style will you do?
Find films in the genre of your film. Are there any films you will use as inspiration? Screen shot
and annotate one you like etc
Pulp Fiction:I chose this film to be a
part of my research because there is
a good interrogation scene. It does
contain some strong language and
some violence, but the balance
between each is fair.
