  • 2. Grammy Awards 2010
    • The awards took place on the 31 st January 2010 at Staples Centre, Los Angeles.
    • Beyonce won a total of 6 awards, breaking the record for most wins by a female artist in one night.
    • Taylor Swift won 4 awards, with her album “Fearless” won the Grammy Album of the Year award, she tried to display her trophies but dropped and broke one.
    • The Black Eyed Peas, Jay-Z and Kings of Leon won 3 awards.
    • Artists who won 2 awards were Colbie Caillat, Eminem, Kanye West, Lady Gaga, Maxwell and Rihanna.
    • Tributes were made to Les Paul and Michael Jackson.
    • “ Use Somebody” by Kings of Leon won the Grammy award for Record Of the Year.
    “ Single Ladies” by songwriters Beyonce, Thaddis Harrell, The-Dream and Christopher Stewart won Song of the Year.
  • 3. iPad
    • The iPad is a tablet computer, with similar functions to the iPod touch but with four times the display area.
    • It will allow multi-touch interaction with Print, Video, Photos and Audio.
    • It can connect to the internet via Wi-Fi and on some models 3-G.
    • The iPad will only run software purchased through Apple’s app store like the iPhone.
    • It will come with the following applications – Youtube, Safari, Mail, Photos, Video, iPod, iTunes, App Store, Maps, Calendar, Notes, Spotlight and Contacts.
