Week one review After my first week ofrecordings I have observedthat the bathroom was takingup most of our water use. This was shown by the largeamount of water being used inthe morning, mainly due toshowers. So I put in place aplan that mainly reduces ourwater use in the bathroom. Italso involves re-using water inthe garden.
My action plan Use a four-minute timer when having a shower Keep a bucket in the shower to collect the water as it warms up. (Use this water on plants). Brush teeth while in the shower. Use dirty fish-tank water on plants. Use dirty pet water on plants. Use plastic container of water to rinse dishes, after cleaning. Ensure washing machine is full before use.
Expected OutcomesFamily: We think that the action plan focuses on our key water uses and should reduce our water use in our household.Outcomes: I predict that the action plan will significantly reduce our water use in our household, particularly our morning water usage.

Plan review Plan adjustments Since my action plan hasAfter my second week of been working effectively, thereadings it is obvious that my only change will be nowater usage has gone down; longer using part six of thehowever a large part of that plan. This part has notimprovement was because of a worked well in ourwater leak that was repaired household and will no longerjust before I started my second be used as a a part of theweek of readings. I have action plan.observed from the readingsthat we use more water onweekends, this is mainlybecause of laundry andwatering the garden (which aremostly done on weekends).

Final week review After my final week ofreadings, I noted that our totalwater use for the week haddecreased by a smallamount. Our morning andafternoon uses haddecreased, however, ourevening use had increased. Ithink this is due to the factthat showers were beingmore focused in the evening.

ConclusionsIt is clear that my water usagehad decreased after my actionplan was put intoplace, however the water leakwas wasting a lot of water eachday and was the main reason Observationsmy water usage had decreased I have observed from the readingsby so much. I still believe that that we, as a household use the most water on weekends mainlymy plan was effective and did because of laundry and gardenhave an input into lowering our watering . I have also noticed thatwater use. shower times also take up the most water. These observations indicate high water usage at certain times of the day and week.
