• ViGO offers considerable configuration flexibility and upgradeability. This slide depicts the various inputs and outputs contained within the ViGO. Not shown is the headset jacks on the side of the unit.
  • As you can see from this chart, most of the features of the VXM are available to both VCON and non-VCON endpoints. However, due to the tight integration required with the endpoint for some features (call transfer, endpoint configuration, etc.), these select features are only available to VCON MeetingPoint 4.5 users. For example, in order to transfer a video call, the GUI needs to have a “Call Transfer” button. In order for the VXM to be able to remotely configure the endpoint’s settings, unique information must be exchanged between the endpoint and the server. Nonetheless, the VXM can serve as a very valuable tool for a network that has both VCON and non-VCON H.323 endpoints installed.

    14. 14. Successful ViGO Demonstration

To bring out the physical advantages of VIGO and to show off the versatility of the industrial design, here are some steps to follow when demonstrating ViGO:

1. Unzip carrying case and pull out base unit only. 2. Discuss the base - buttons, connections on back, etc. 3. Pull out camera and point out that on desktop configuration, it would just sit on top of the monitor. 4. Pull out the speaker tower and mention that for laptops or desktops without multimedia speakers, the speaker tower is a great feature - and doesn’t take up additional space! 5. Show headset and hook (for headset) 6. Describe that even with the speaker tower configured, the user could easily just carry base, headset and camera for travel.
    15. 15. Thank you!
