1. 1. AdWatch Overview Media Analysis Technologies
 2. 2. Market Needs

Content producers and broadcasters toady:

Make their living by broadcasting commercial advertisements

Monitor affiliate’s broadcast in a tedious and complicated way

Spend a lot of money on human surveillance and widespread distribution

Use methods that have limited efficiency and low accuracy

Get their reports long after the actual broadcast

Actus’ solution is:

Easy and cheap to deploy in a single point or in multiple points

Efficient because it automatically detects any aired items

Reliable since it uses state-of-the-art technology

Able to display all reports in real-time with the associated media

Accessible from any PC, no special client software is required

 3. 3. What is AdWatch? AdWatch is the first system that can automatically detect reoccurring media items such as ads, promos, election campaign ads and more within any number of TV and Radio broadcast channels.

Automatically detect revenue generating (or any other) content such as ads, promos, news breaks, political campaign ads and more.

Automatically detect ad breaks and ad placement within the ad break

Monitor audio level during ad breaks

Detect unauthorized and unidentified ads

Easily insert, review, edit and share planning for all your broadcast channels

Create detailed plan vs. broadcast reports

Monitor broadcast channels signal’s status in real-time

Implement as a local system or a distributed one

Keep bandwidth cost to a minimum

AdWatch Key Advantages:
 4. 4. System Description 1. Media is recorded on local or remote capture machines 24/7 2. User is selecting the media to be automatically detected by accessing the web application located on the main server 3. Fingerprint is created on the main server and automatically distributed to the capture machines Capture Servers (Local or at remote locations) Main Server (Web Application)
 5. 5. System Description 4. Once fingerprinted material is identified, a notification about the detection, including its media, is transmitted to the main server 5. User can view all notifications in real time 6. Detailed reports about the detections can be generated Capture Servers (Local or at remote locations) Main Server (Web Application)
 6. 6. Fingerprinting material In order to allow the capture machines to automatically detect content, the content must first be fingerprinted. This can be done from any client PC, from any location, in one of two methods: 1. Using the built-in file up loader Uploaded media files are fingerprinted and stored for later review. Fingerprints can be assigned to a specific channel, all channels, or a group of channels. The fingerprints are distributed to the assigned capture machines automatically. 2. Using recorded media as reference for future identifications
 7. 7. Get Notifications about Detections AdWatch immediately notifies users when monitored (fingerprinted) media is detected. Actual detected media is available so you can view and compare between the reference content and the aired broadcast from any PC:
 8. 8. Reports with Video AdWatch provides you a detailed report of what was planned vs. what was actually broadcasted. For Example, you can select a channel, date and time, and see what was aired according to plan and what was not aired. Easy color recognition and actual recorded media are available.
 9. 9. Export Reports AdWatch includes a comprehensive report generator. You can filter the information in order to create the exact report you need: According to date and time, channel, group of channels, by a specific commercial, a specific sponsor or any combination of the above. All reports can be exported in any popular format such as excel, PDF, CSV and HTML: Country and station  Channel or Group of channels  Sponsor or campaign  Specific commercial or program  Date and time frame  Click to select your report type, all common formats are supported 
