1) Research has found that listening to music activates specific brain regions involved in memory, motor control, timing, and language. Studies have shown that harmony, melody, and rhythm each stimulate distinct patterns of brain activity in both the left and right hemispheres. 2) Repetitive movement helps develop myelin sheaths around neurons, which insulates them and enhances neural signal transmission efficiency. Sufficient myelination also protects the brain from pruning undeveloped neural connections in early adolescence. 3) Using technology excessively at young ages may limit the development of motor skills and bodily movement needed to stimulate myelination, potentially reducing future intellectual abilities.

4. Depth — It is the repetitive movement of the limbs and
organs of the body that provide the exercise needed to assist the
myelination of the axons in the brain. Extensive use of
technological tools at an early age, no matter how alluring, may
actually limit the development of these organs, thereby,
diminishing future intellectual potential.
