Building the ultimate candidate pipeline
VCE implemented RolePoint with the primary goal of increasing the participation in their employee referral program,
making it much easier for recruiters to follow-up on the referrals that had been made and integrating seamlessly with their IBM Kenexa applicant tracking system.
They had a specific percent of hires in mind that they wanted to bring in through referrals over the next 3 to 6 months and enlisted RolePoint to help achieve that goal.
RolePoint was launched with a raffle campaign. RolePoint introduced the idea of rewarding participation in the program along with successful hires, leading to a 51% participation rate in the program, a three times increase over what VCE we’re previously seeing.
Alongside this a significant proportion of VCE connected their social networks. This meant VCE had access to over 100,000 first degree contacts from employees. RolePoint made it easy for VCE employees to find out which of their contacts would be the best fit for particular roles.
In part due to the ease of use for the employees and the increased awareness of the program, VCE experienced a 9 times increase in the number of referrals, going from 29 to 262. Through the matching algorithm, RolePoint ensured the referred candidates were qualified to maintain the referred applicant to hire ratio.
Referred candidates completed their application process in the IBM Kenexa applicant tracking system, where RolePoint was tracked as the source. Recruiters were immediately notified of the new referred candidates could follow-up on the employee referral program SLA to respond to new referrals within 72 hours.
The RolePoint solution made the referral experience for both employees and recruiters more streamlined and lead to a much higher volume of qualified referred applicants
