    Funny, I didn't view the slide show the same way as other posters - I did not see poverty in what the othr cultures ate - in fact they seemed to be consuming more Whole Foods - fruits/vegetables/grains. The Americn family looked like they were consuming nothing but JUNK FOOD - there was not a fruit or vegetable in sight!

    We need to be remained of this more often. So often we take our good fortune for grated while others go hungry. I agree so much with what SRINI has said. I could not have said it better. Thank you Roelof for brining this situation forth. Spider :)

    Yes, this is a worrying situation to anyone sensitive to hunger pain and poverty. I hope this presentation goes some way towards making each one of us do whatever he/she can to alter the situation even if by a little bit. Everyone CAN make a difference even if it is small.
