    • Statewide Network
      • IPTV operates 9 transmitters and 8 translators and currently has digital capability in 50% of state.
      • Producing station. Create new media for K-12 students and teachers.
      • Serve early childhood, K-12 and adult learners.
      • Ready to Learn and TeacherLine station
      • Serve K-12 audience through the AEAs
    • Iowa’s Area Education Agencies
    • IPTV and the DE
      • IPTV appointee is state education coordinator for E-Rate.
      • IPTV Education Director also is co-director of Educational Technology for the DE
      • IPTV representative is DE appointee as commissioner on the State Library Commission
      • IPTV appointed Director of Iowa Learning Online--Iowa’s newly-formed virtual academy
    • Star Schools
      • IPTV has been the grant agent for Star Schools funds for 11 years.
      • Responsible for overall dissemination of $50 million to K-12 education
    •  
      • Education Telecommunications Council-- advisory group for the Iowa Communications Network (ICN)--IPTV Ed. Director is past chair and current IPTV appointee.
      • Digital Content Delivery Group--IPTV, AEAs, State Library and the ICN
    • Check Ego, Cede Turf
      • Success of partnerships directly related to the general managers, department directors, and bureau chiefs who were willing to cede turf, forgo credit, and relinquish some control in the interest of fulfilling our collective educational missions.
    • Evaluating State Educational Technology Programs Grant
      • Iowa one of 9 states awarded grant to help states learn to conduct and procure high-quality evaluations of ed tech programs.
      • IPTV role to help produce videos of model teachers and disseminate statewide through datacasting.
      • Grant monies spent on tuner cards & antennae for all Iowa school districts.
      • Statewide roll-out over the next 3 years
