Sorry to burst your bubble guestd253d6 but he did try to address it with the Reps and the Dems assured us that everything was ok, Fannie and Freddie were in capable hands, despite the Reps dire warning of a collapse. To be honest, I was not at all happy with the out of control spending by Reps and now the way out of control spending by the Dems that are now robbing money from our grandchildren. The problem with BOTH parties is all they do is SPEND! How about cutting, has that EVER crossed your mind?
Bush’s spending a trillion dollars on his stupid war, and not fixing the housing problem when it was fixable is what got us where we are. Obama is proposing putting th money into OUR economy where it will do some good, e.g. energy, environment, education, health care - NOT BOMBS like the Bushwacker.
Sadly, everyone thinks Bush was out of control on spending and yet Obama is not spending on the correct items or monitoring where the money is really going.
