  3. 3. Objectives of the Report Broad/General objective To measure the effectiveness of recruitment and selection process of Standard Bank Ltd.
  4. 4. Continue… Specific Objectives There are some specific objectives of our report. These are given below--To identify the recruitment method of Standard Bank. To recognize the selection process of Standard Bank. To investigate the external and internal sources of recruitment and selection process of Standard Bank. To explore how they attract pool of quality applicants of Standard Bank.
  5. 5. Methodology Source In order to complete the report with proper and relevant information we collected data from several source. Primary Source A primary source is a document or physical object which was written or created during the time under study. So we prepare questionnaires to collect primary data from the employees of Standard Bank to complete this report. Here we use questionnaire as a primary source. Secondary Source Secondary data has collected from  Official Website  Annual report  Research papers

Findings • 53.33% employees agreed that standard Bank conducted recruitment by themselves when they need higher level employees. • 40% agreed that Standard Bank use fair selection method. • 40% agreed that Standard Bank is able to attract quality applicants. • 50% agreed that HR team act as consultant to enhance the quality of applicants. • 43.33% agreed that the process of finding candidates from non-traditional source is good.

Concluding Observations In final observations we can say that  In the competitive business world Standard Bank Ltd. using all HR practice to gain competitive advantage.  They mainly focus on Recruitment and selection process for gaining competitive advantage.  The Standard Bank is using HR practices effectively and efficiently that’s helping them to conduct a leading banking system.

Continue……. • Standard Bank use innovative techniques to select the best candidate. • In pre-screening process, HR department works to enhance the quality of applicants. • Standard Bank is doing well in case of finding candidates from non-traditional sources. • Standard Bank, present the actual picture of the job in front of the applicants (RJP). • Standard Bank judged Recruiters qualifications strongly.

Recommendations By observing the whole analysis part we can say• They should increase their recruitment budget. • They need to work to improve the performance of HR department. • They should improve the interview process and other selection instruments. • Recruitment and selection process should be free from biasness.
