  • 1. Spring Fair Raises Thousands for DESCATHundreds turned out to enjoy the School’s Annual Spring Fair last Saturday. With games, stalls,food and raffles, the fun filled afternoon resulted in a whopping total of QR 30,762 raised for DES-CAT charities, Qatar Red Crescent and Reach out to Asia. A fantastic result. Thank You Dukhancommunity!BSME Games DES in Dibba!Over the last few months a number of Year Mountain biking, abseiling, rock climbing, team build-5 & 6 DES students have been training hard ing, wadi walking and raft building were just some offor the forthcoming British Schools of the the exhilarating activities a group of Year 5, 6, 7 & 8Middle East (BSME) Games. The Games DES students took part in during their recent adven-have now arrived and the students will be ture holiday in Dibba, UAE. The 4 days away gavetravelling to Dubai this weekend to take part the children an opportunity to learn to work as ain five competitive events - swimming, foot- team, helped build their confidence, taught them toball, basketball, netball and athletics. The 3 be more responsible, of course, ensured they had aday competition will be tough, with a total of great time!24 schools competing from all over the Mid-dle East.
