Russian high-voltage capacitor
I have given a Russian high-voltage pulse capacitor on the fingers meeting! He has 0,
25mF at 30kV max.!
Unfortunately, he is supposedly shot by!
Recharge now, I can't do it! It stores nothing more easy! He does not make a short circuit
but also! What's with him? Is it broken?
Loaded up I got him first on 80V! Would have to to the test rich, or I should rather equal
times hang off 5kV?
One more question:
What was used for an oil in the Russian capacitors? No PCB-containing???
My father not want I, fals offline partial discharge he should be really broken, screw off
the insulators, because he fears that is there something toxic in the oil, or something toxic
oil is evaporated out and now gas hangs in the capacitor! If one assumes from Chernobyl,
there something poisonous it might. The Russians are not so rigorous, regarding health.
Get a defective capacitor. That makes no sense. So I won't to prefer the part to remove
the insulators! Dud enn now ever tried to load the part on a certain voltage (few kV)? A
HV capacitor stores either or it's broken. You do know that you have no optically visible
or audible effect at 80 V and 0.25 Μf?

He can but also internal wieder stände again staende, then is nothing to save. Then, just
reactive current can compensate.
Make up should it never. You can edit the contents
1 eh not repair and
2. you get the never again as pure, if he is only even out and
3. were the Russians for known all possible stuff regardless of the toxicity and hazards to
process. The capacitor has, but surely no 0, 25mF. 0, 25µF will be. Thus, he would have
so fully loaded 112.5 Joule.
The inscription "0476" means that the capacitor in calendar week 4, was produced in
1976. He could so PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls, are quite toxic) included.
You can even apply a voltage of several 100V and measure the current of the capacitor
takes up. If he is healing, the power should decline to zero pretty quickly on (praktlich).
But 0, 25µF are not sure!
Have a small pulse capacitor at home with 0, 2µF and 11 and which is much smaller!
Where 0, 250mF is also illogical.
Well heck, whatever he just on the shelf to the watch or is sold as a hobbyist commodity
on eBay with an unknown state
