Slide 1: Offer A Money Back Guarantee ................................................................................................................................................................. Offer A Money Back Guarantee \"If it is hard to find a customer, it is much harder to have them as a client once you have found them\" This is my philosophy regarding my own business. I had an offline company that sold tangible products. When selling offline you can do promotional campaigns but still find it difficult to convert into sales. What the majority of offline companies do is that they offer warrantee's for every product which a customer buys. Normally, 6 months or up to 1 year is given as a warrantee's for their product just to re-assure people that what they are selling is a quality item. In fact some car companies even give 3 -5 year warranties! That warranty serves as a proof that the money spent by the customer is worth the product they bought. If the product they bought is defective, the customer has the right to bring it back and exchange it for a another product. On the internet there is no such thing as a warranty. Products online are not gauged by their performance because most of them are info products, meaning that as such they can't be \"defective\" in the traditional sense. Here is where the MONEY BACK GUARANTEE comes in. Since the majority of products are info based products, like ebooks it is highly unlikely that the product can be defective therefore internet marketers offer money back guarantees whenever a certain customer is not satisfied with the product they bought. Certain companies who process credit card payments for a marketer, such as clickbank require that you offer an unconditional 8 week money back guarantee. In fact, even the internet marketing pro's can create a million dollar salespages even when the product value is very small. As a pro, you can even use flowery words just to entice your market to buy. In order to prove to your client that what you offer is something of value offer them a money back guarantee. Research has shown that the longer the guarantee period the better - if you only offer a 7 day money back guarantee, you will ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (C) Richard Butler www.richardbutlerthesuccesscoach.com

In fact if you don't offer a guarantee you may get less sales. It is important to note you will come across customers who will ask for their money back even though they are satisfied. These are the ones who are fooling some marketers. Do not focus on them, there are only a few of them around. Do not be afraid to offer a money back guarantee if the product or service is as good as you say it is then you will have no fear of offering the customer their money back if they are not satisfied.
