BASICS OF RESELL RIGHTS
We briefly looked at rights earlier but now we examine them in more depth
To recap:
Resell rights allow you to buy a product and resell it to others. Unlike being an affiliate you
get to keep 100% of the sale price, rather than only getting a % of the sale. As you can
imagine these can be very attractive to people.
What you can't do with resell rights
You can't make any changes to the product. Usually the product is delievered in pdf format
(a format that you can't edit). However some people will give you brandable resell rights.
This means you can rebrand the links within the ebook so that as you sell it or give it away,
when a person clicks on a link it may generate a sale for you.
Some resell rights products don't come with branding options.
Why would someone give resell rights to a product?
In order for their name to get out into the internet marketing or niche community. Think
about it people can sell the product and keep 100% of the profit. A lot of people love that.
Not only this they might be able to bundle your report with theirs, which adds value to what
ever they are selling.
The other main reason is that many people don't offer a branding option, so suppose many
many people sell your report, all of those people will click on your affiliate links and you will
profit from this!
What price do you sell the product at?
This is always a problem. You get some \"marketers\" who will buy a resell product and then
sell it for pennies on ebay or thru dime sales. To be honest there's nothing you can do
about this. However what I recommend is that you never use the sales page that comes
with a product - change the text, re do the graphics if you can, so in effect the sales page
stands out from the hundreds of others.
What many people people will do is take a few lines of text from the sales page and then
put it into google. They can then see all the people that are selling the product and buy the
cheapest version!

What else can I do?
Offer the product as part of a bundle of related products, or perhaps offer a nice bonus if
they buy the product from you. Think outside of the box, rather than be constrained it.
