Fusion MDM for Customer - Highlights • Integration with OneSource business information for customer data facilitating the real time sourcing of detailed customer information • Real time deduplication and cleansing of Customer data using Informatica’s matching engine (former Identity Systems matching engine) – You can create the customer anyway if needed ignoring the warning message or choose an existing organization – Deduplication then is carried out on the location information presenting with matching locations. You have an option of using an existing location or create a new location during this process • Real time Address validation using Informatica’s Address solution (former Address Doctor) – During customer entry you can optionally invoke Address validation using a process (thru a button titled Verify Address). Upgrade Scenarios • One to One – EBS to Fusion Apps – PeopleSoft Financials to Fusion Apps – PeopleSoft HRMS to Fusion Apps – Siebel CRM to Fusion Apps • Many to One – Can not be done through automated upgrade path – Upgrade one environment first and then reimplement rest • One to Many – Not recommended, but – If you use any functionality that is not part of V1 but still see business value in going to Fusion Apps, this may result in multiple Fusion Apps instances. ©2010 Rhapsody Technologies, Inc., All rights reserved. 41 “Mastering” Master Data Solutions

Fusion Applications – Adoption/Implementation • Get trained in Fusion Middleware Technologies – Or become a Dinosaur… Eventually… • Prepare to re-implement if your current installation is heavily customized – Take stock of all customizations – Document existing business processes – Identify and document process issues and deficiencies • Upgrade (probably technical) to EBS R12 if you are on R11i and your installation is either vanilla or lightly customized – Can upgrade easily from R12 to Fusion Applications, though you can technically upgrade from R11i to Fusion Applications • Older versions of EBS (prior to R11.5.10) will not be able to directly upgrade to Fusion Applications ©2010 Rhapsody Technologies, Inc., All rights reserved. 43 “Mastering” Master Data Solutions

Fusion Applications – Adoption/Implementation • Explore implementing Fusion MDM applications either for Customer or for Product or both initially – This will give you following benefits • You are implementing a must have application that you most likely have not implemented yet • Learn the inner workings of Fusion Applications in the process • By the time you are ready to migrate from Apps Unlimited Applications to Fusion Applications – You will have trained resources – The product would have stabilized – Oracle might have released one or two point versions – Possibly increased functionality like releasing of Manufacturing modules and/or MDM solution for other domains like Sites, Suppliers, Accounting, etc. ©2010 Rhapsody Technologies, Inc., All rights reserved. 44 “Mastering” Master Data Solutions
