  • 1. A German „Quark Stollen“
  • 2. <ul><li>Grease the baking form. (if available) </li></ul>
  • 3. <ul><li>Cut the baking paper. </li></ul>
  • 4. <ul><li>Weigh, mix and knead the dough. </li></ul><ul><li>At first mix 500g of flour and 1 package of baking powder. </li></ul><ul><li>Then put the rest of the ingredients to the flour and baking powder. </li></ul>
  • 5. <ul><li>Form the dough if a baking form is not available. </li></ul>Form a circle of dough. Then put the right and the left side of the dough in the middle.
  • 6. <ul><li>Put the quark stollen in the oven. </li></ul><ul><li>Baking time in a pre-heated oven: 60-70 min. </li></ul><ul><li>Top-/bottom heat: 160-180°C </li></ul><ul><li>Hot air: 150°C </li></ul>
  • 7. <ul><li>Put a cold wet cloth on the hot baking form. </li></ul><ul><li>The reason: </li></ul><ul><li>Without a cold wet cloth the stollen will break. </li></ul>
  • 8. <ul><li>Spread the stollen with melted butter. </li></ul><ul><li>Coat it with powdered sugar. </li></ul>
  • 9. And now: Enjoy your stollen!
