Facebook, the social networking site that has become a phenomenon, boasts 800 million users. Talk about a candidate goldmine! What’s more, research finds that, on average, people are connected by approximately four degrees of separation. Yes, it’s a small world after all. But how do you navigate a social network with so many members? And what’s considered proper professional protocol when interacting at Facebook, a site where members consider themselves friends? As important, how do you brand yourself and your organization so candidates will “friend” you?

Gail Houston, social media program manager & recruiter at Intuit, and Leslie Mason, marketing & analytics recruiter at Intuit, share how their company successfully uses Facebook. Tim Besse, co-founder, senior vice president & chief marketing officer at Glassdoor, will provide insight into how the popular website Glassdoor leverages Facebook.
