• Chloride free
TPO doesn’t contain any Chloride in it’s formulation
• 100% recyclable
PVC contains 30% plasticizers by weight, which are released in
the environment during the service life, TPO doesn’t loose any weight
during it’s life. The extraction of plasticizers from PVC compound is
accelerated by UV, high temperature, water contact.
• 35% lighter then PVC
TPO density is 0,92 Kg/dm3 PVC density is 1,30 Kg/dm3
On a 100.000 m2 roof covered with a 1,5 mm thick membrane, we obtain:
PVC – 195 Tons (9 containers)
TPO – 138 Tons (6 containers)
• Gas emission during welding
PVC releases hydrochlorate anhydride which is agressive when
inhaled, TPO doesn’t release any harmfull gas or smoke during
welding.
