  • 1. Internet trollS!(By Trace401)
(The idiots you see in the chat rooms, or the guys who spam things! Who are often silenced/banned!)
  • 2. Troll Subspecies
  • 3. Troll Ideal’s
    • “They are going out of their way in such that it actually costs them more than it does you”
    • 4. “Trolls feed off others emotional suffering”
  • Ways people think they should defeat trolls!
Re-trolling, or trying to troll the trolls back!
Its easier to caps lock and yell at them.
Leaving, or muting helps. (Trolls often create other accounts, so muting only helps if they stop)
  • 5. The correct way to defeat trolls!
    Get a mod.
    Mute (usually helps).
    Ignore.
Do not feed the trolls. (Do not caps lock at them, do not attack them with your words or anything else to fuel their rage.)
  • 6. Random facts about trolls.
The most likely derivation of the word troll can be found in the phrase "trolling for newbies", popularized in the early 1990s in the Usenet group, alt.folklore.urban (AFU).Commonly, what is meant is a relatively gentle inside joke by veteran users, presenting questions or topics that had been so overdone that only a new user would respond to them earnestly
Early incidences of such behavior was first seen in open-access forums in California, on a series of modem-linked computers in the 1970s, like CommuniTreewhich when accessed by high school teenagers became a ground for trashing and abuse.
