  • 1. How to return Library ebooks early from the Kindle. Randolph County Public Library www.randolphlibrary.org
  • 2. 1) An ebook checked out on the Kindle is returned through Amazon. Go to www.amazon.com, and from the Your Account menu on the top, select ‘Manage Your Kindle’.
  • 3. 2) Sign in to your Amazon account.
  • 4. 3) Select the ‘Actions’ dropdown menu next to the book you want to return. (Tip: the words ‘public library’ will appear next to any library ebooks)
  • 5. 4) From the menu, select “Return this book”.
  • 6. 5) Select ‘Yes’ to return the book.
  • 7. 6) After you return the book, it will still show in Your Kindle Library list. To remove it from the list, select Actions again, and from the dropdown menu select “Delete from library”.
  • 8. If you need help, call the Library reference desk at 336-318-6803 or bring your device to the Library for one-on-one assistance.
