  • 2. Guitars
    • There are many kinds of guitars. The 2 main kinds are bass guitar and lead guitar. Guitars are instruments that have different frets and you press your finger on a string in a fret and strum or pluck the string. Different frets make different sounds and different strings make different sounds.
    Acoustic lead guitar
  • 3. Lead guitars
    • There are 2 kinds of lead guitars, acoustic, and electric. The things they have in common are that they both have six strings and both are string instruments, they both can be tuned so they sound a little different, and you play them the same way. You play the lead guitar with a pick. Lead guitar is the most common guitar. You can play chords which is when you put your fingers on different frets and strum more than one string. In most songs, chords are used.
    Bass Guitar-
  • 4. Electric guitars
    • Electric guitars have the same parts as acoustic guitars, and are played the same. Electric guitars are plugged into an amplifier that has different settings that you can do to make the sound sound different.
  • 5. Electric guitars
    • Since electric guitars can be plugged into an amplifier and set to different settings, electric guitars are usually used in rock music and jazz music that has guitar in it, because it can be set to settings that are good sounding with these kinds of music.
  • 6. Acoustic guitars
    • Acoustic guitars have the same parts as the electric guitar, but different settings. Acoustic guitars are not used with amplifiers and cant be set to different settings, so they are played the way they sound when you play them normally
  • 7. Acoustic Guitars
    • Because of the acoustic not having an amplifier like the electric and not being able to change sound settings, the acoustic is used for country music. Even though you can tune the acoustic to sound a little different, the sound cant be changed like an amplifier can change it, so most acoustic guitars are used for country music. Sometimes it is used in rock music, but mostly country music.
  • 8. Bass Guitars Bass guitars are guitars with 4 strings only. They have thick strings, which makes a low and thick sound, but is loud. It is usually used in rock music in the background, because country music doesn’t have bass guitar. You don’t use a pick, like a lead guitar. Bass guitars also have an amplifier and can change the sound, but not as much as the lead electric guitar can change the sound.
  • 9. Conclusion
    • Guitars are a great instrument and can be used in many ways and for many different kinds of music. Playing a guitar isn’t easy but it pays off. You can do so many things with guitars.
