  • 1. “EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION IN JOURNAL BEARING” SUBMITTED BY:- BRAJESH KUMAR RAJKUMAR KUMAWAT RAVI SUTHAR PURAN SINGH PANWAR MANOJ VERMA
  • 2. AIM • TO CALIBRATE THE CROMAL –ALUMEL THERMOCOUPLE . • TO DETERMINE VISOCITY . • TO STUDY THE VARIATION OF TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION WITH LOAD AND SPEED . • TO SELECT BEST LUBRICANT ACCORDING TO PERFORMANCE OF DIFFERENT LUBRICANTS IN JOURNAL BEARING.
  • 3. APPARATUS LIST • Journal • A.C Motor • Ball bearing • Regulator • Frame • Milivoltmeter • Lubricants • Oil reservior • Thermocouple wire • ISI Table
  • 4. COSTING OF THE PROJECT • According to the required apparatus the aprox. costing will be above Rs 20,000 of this project.
  • 5. Journal Bearing set up with Thermocouple circuit diagram
  • 6. On Journal Bearing, Equi-spaced taping around circumference and four addition tapings are positioned in length.
  • 7. CONCLUSION • THE PURPOSE TO CARRY OUT THIS EXPERIMENT IS TO SEE THE BEHAVIOUR OF THE TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTIONS ON JOURNAL BEARING FOR DIFFERENT TYPES OF LUBRICANTS AND SEE THE BEARING PERFORMANCE UNDER DIFFERENT OPERATING CONDITION
