  1. 1. Ingredients For Charisma Have Energy : Energy increases “personalmagnetism”, which attracts and energises others. Build Relationship : Communicate with passion, usebody language, tell captivating stories, show empathy,tap into mood.
  2. 2.  Have Passion : Energy and Courage bloom out onlywhen there is passion.Your passion prompts others to show enthusiasm. . Build Trust : Become someone to rely on byconsistently honouring commitment.
  3. 3.  Show Confidence : Confidence is more importantthan competence. People want to be lead by selfassured. Be Articulate : Paint word pictures, use metaphors,tell stories to engage others.
  4. 4.  Take Responsibility : “ I will make it happen”, “leavethat to me”, “let me sort it out” and so on are thelanguage reflecting, assuming responsibility. Take Centre Stage : Be willing to step into limelightto make your case, think “ how can I make differencehere.”
  5. 5.  Smiling and charisma are inseparable. The smilingenhances the charisma. Smile should be genuine. Hand Shake , not too strong nor too weak; justappropriate for the culture, person, age, sex etc.
  6. 6.  Be Courteous – like opening door for others, talkpolitely , even on the phone, not interrupting whiletalking, excusing very courteously and so on. Empathy – understand and realise what others arefeeling.
  7. 7.  Eye contact - Maintain eye contact, bit longer, withtotal attention. No distraction. Connect – look for common areas to connect withothers.
  8. 8.  Respect : Avoid making others to feel bad. Language : Choose words carefully and mean whatyou say. Questions : Mainly to encourage them to talk
  9. 9.  Stories : Personal stories sharing, when handled well,builds rapport. Sensitivity : Asses the state of mind of others bywatching for mixture of verbal and non-verbal cues.
