It will take a while for your entity to be able to deal with the change, but they need you there to support it the whole way through. You can get them to share GCPs from when they’ve managed change well and give inputs on what AI could do to support their implementation.

    10. 10. 1. Start Early (Now!) • Be Proactive, timely and consistent • Drive enthusiasm and engagement • Build it into the current strategic direction and plan • Take feedback
    11. 11. 2. Be Structured • Be aware of the phases of change management • Don’t “reinvent the wheel” – what worked last time? • Build credibility by doing proper research
    12. 12. 3. Be Customised • Design an approach for each member, in each role, in each LC • Know who you want to know what so they can make what happen • Targeted and focused ;)
    13. 13. 4. Use your influencers • Who has direct contact with the membership – make sure they are on board! • Use MCP/LCP/Alumni to reinforce the change • Showcase GCPs, publically celebrate LCs adapting faster, promote benefits of change

Remember the Individual Always think – what does the individual member need to make this change simple and easy? • Awareness “I know why we need to change” • Desire “I decide to actively support the change” • Knowledge “I know how to make the change and what happens next” • Ability “I have the skills and behaviours to make the change happen” • Reinforcement “I know the change will be sustained”

Webinars? Conferences? Chose your delivery channel!  Ensure your LCD/LC Coaches are clear on the implementation timeline  Ensure timeline aligns with exchange timeline!
