  • 2. Every year we receive hundreds of thousands of calls reporting animals in need.
  • 3. Pets, wildlife and farm animals can all find themselves inneed of a little assistance from time to time. When they do,were here to help.
  • 4. We get called out to all sorts of accidents, from the ordinaryto the extraordinary. Take a look at some of our pet rescuestories and watch some of our dramatic rescue footage.
  • 5. We are the only animal welfarecharity prosecuting those who harm animals and in 2010 we secured 2,441 convictions.
  • 6. Our officers rescue the animals most in needand offer them safety and treatment at ourcentres until they can berehomed or released.Can you offer a rescued pet a forever home? Well help you find your perfect match.
  • 7. It’s never ok to abandon an animaland yet we regularly receive calls fromconcerned members of the public about animals who havebeen left out in the cold.

  • 9. When disaster strikes we react fast. From animals trapped in floods or swept-up in highwinds here in England and Wales toanimals needing assistance after devastating earthquakes overseas.
