  • A two-weekend festival of music inspired by Paris
In March, StéphanèDenève, the Orchestra and an all-French cast of soloists performed two unique concerts, packed with music from – and inspired by – the magical French capital.
  • The second weekend featured new works by six young Parisian composers, a few of whom were able to join us for rehearsals and the concerts…
  • Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Lynda Cochrane, Stéphane and composer Guillaume Connesson get to grips with his new Piano Concerto.
  • Backstage, with Guillaume Connesson and Jean-Yves Thibaudet.
  • Fabien Waksman, composer of Solar Storm, working with Stéphane.
  • The RSNO’s (French) Principal Oboe, Emmanuel Laville.
  • The woodwind section.
  • RSNO Violists Lisa Rourke and Katherine Wren.
  • RSNO Principal Trumpet John Gracie.
  • Our ‘Salon’ – onstage with Stéphane, Jean-Yves, baritone Thomas Dolie and violinist VesselinGellev.
  • The full Orchestra returns to the stage…
