Start at Your Library<br />Ask for assistance at Reference<br />Get an updated Library Card<br />Set up a free e-mail account –<br /> Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, etc<br />Use to apply for jobs on-line, journal alerts, re-establishing connections, etc.<br />Books, Magazines, Newspapers, Audio-Visual Material, Interlibrary Loan, Computers, Wireless Network, and Meeting Rooms.<br />

Get a Library Card<br />It’s easy as one-two-three in most libraries:<br />Visit the library in the town or county where you live/work;<br />Show identification with proof of residency or current employment;<br />Access online resources at www.NJworks.org<br /> or<br />www.JerseyClicks.org<br />
  4. 4. NJ Works @ Your Library<br />Statewide initiative designed for libraries to assist job seekers. NJworks.org provides both online and in-person resources and tools to any state resident.<br />Expands on JerseyClicks, which is the portal for accessing online resources statewide.<br />Keep an eye on www.NJWorks.org for the latest news and offerings of this program.<br />

Contact and Connect!<br />Use Magazine and Newspaper collections:<br />To access the ‘Trade Rags.’<br />Find people you know.<br />Look for growth, mergers, acquisitions. <br />Industry specific focus is often better than geographic.<br />Business Source Premier includes active, peer-reviewed scholarly business journals.<br />Business sections of newspapers often useful too.<br />
