The regions groundwater islargely non-renewable andaquifers are rapidly beingdepleted.8. Groundwater plays animportant role in surface waterbasins, a link which is oftenoverlooked.9. A new thinking is required todeal with large regional aquifersystems from a sharedperspective.10. It is already too late to savesome shared waters.
