Wedum Residential Hospice Project Architect Responsible for producing and coordinating drawing sets for city submittal and construction documents Mohagen/Hansen Architectural Group was selected to provide site planning, exterior building design and interior architecture and design for a new residential hospice to be located in one of the northern suburbs of Minneapolis. One of the challenges of this project was to maintain the residential character of the building while meeting the programmatic needs of a medical facility. We were also charged with delivering a budget conscious and low maintenance building. I worked with the project designer to research and incorporate stock sizes of doors, windows, and trim throughout the project. The exterior trim and siding has a factory applied paint with a fifteen year warranty.
