Project characteristics IMMEDIATE PROGRESS Thanks to the working area: HEALTH is a global issue interconnecting many others FOCUSED ACTIVITY FIELD Thanks to the use of existing technologies and infrastructures Thanks to the continuous exchange among partners having different language backgrounds NO LANGUAGE BARRIERS Thanks to collaborations with international institutions interested in the project (FAO and WHO) OPEN APPROACH RIBDA 2009 - Innovación en el Acceso Abierto a la Información Agrícola y Ambiental – Lima 27-29 Octubre 2009

    • The implementation of a training course prototype is conceived in terms of adaptability and flexibility to different settings
    • A survey, through a questionnaire , has been performed in order to obtain an initial scenario of all the institutions that might be potentially involved in Latin America, Caribbean countries and in Europe
    • According to the specific needs revealed by Project partners as well as also by the survey, training courses will be addressed to teaching staff of specific interest groups:

    • In the subsequent phases of the project, the trained teacher staff
    • will adopt the prototype courses to train the involved groups
