  • 1. I’m Here Hannah Atkinson The Guardian, Monday 3rd October 2011 I’m Here is a sweet Sci- Fi romantic film that appeals to anyone who likes a quirky story line. It’s set in the future when robots live among humans. Sheldon is a robot who has a computer for a head and Francesca is a normal looking, modern robot. Sheldon was waiting for the bus home when he first set eyes on FrancescaI’m Here as she was driving a car which is illegal for the robots to do. SheProduction Year: 2010Country: USA kindly offers him a lift as the rest of her friends laugh at him. ButRuntime: 30 mins not long after their first meeting they fall head over heels for eachDirector: Spike Jonze other.Cast: Andrew GarfieldSienna Guillory As the story progresses their robot love progresses. They attend a concert together and as Francesca gets carried away in the crowdof humans her arm get torn off and is crumpled. The heart warming thing about this narrative ishow Sheldon will do anything for Francesca – he proves this by giving her his arm. As the viewerwe think that’s all he would give to her but he ends up giving everything to her.Spike Jonze has done a brilliant job with this film, nothing like it has ever been made before andthe narrative will get anyone hooked! It’s so sweet. Robots have feelings too!
