  • 2. The following are steps one has to take in order to build a house in Ghana. These steps are after you have acquired and registered the land, making sure you rightfully own the land benjaminboadi@consultant.com
  • 3. Step I – Get the Services of Professional. Professionals : Architect, Engineers, Quantity Surveyor Architect : Engage the services of an Architect who will enable you bring your idea of the house into a design concept. benjaminboadi@consultant.com
  • 4. Step I – Get the Services of Professional. Professionals : Architect, Engineers, Quantity Surveyor Engineers : Some Architectural firms have in-house Engineers who will design the Mechanical, Electrical and Structural aspect of the building.. benjaminboadi@consultant.com
  • 5. Step I – Get the Services of Professional. Professionals : Architect, Engineers, Quantity Surveyor Quantity Surveyor : The in- house Quantity Surveyor will produce a document called Bills Of Quantities (BoQ) , which will tell your how much your building project will cost benjaminboadi@consultant.com
  • 6. Step I – Get the Services of Professional. Professionals : Architect, Engineers, Quantity Surveyor If you do not get all these professionals under one roof, you would have to engage their services separately benjaminboadi@consultant.com
  • 7. Step II – Construction Contractor When the designs, scope, duration and cost of proposed works have been agreed, engage the services of a competent Contractor to undertake the construction of your house after all the necessary statutory permits have been obtain. benjaminboadi@consultant.com
  • 8. Step III – Monitoring Supervision : The professionals you have engaged will make sure the construction is undertaken according to the design and specifications benjaminboadi@consultant.com
  • 9. Step IV – Completion Closure : When all the works have been completed, the building is then handed over to the Client benjaminboadi@consultant.com
