Meeting Room Pods Share pod: Displays shared content from thepresenter’s computer (including windows, applications, orthe entire desktop), documents, or whiteboards. Attendee List pod: Displays the name, role, and statusof each attendee, and allows the host to change anattendee’s role or permissions. Chat pod: Allows attendees to send chat messages toother attendees. Q & A pod: Linked to Chat pod. Redirects questionsfrom the Chat pod to appropriate presenters. 4 Title V Symposium

Meeting Room Pods (Cont) Note pod: Displays text messages from hosts orpresenters to all attendees. Camera And Voice pod: Allows hosts, presenters, andparticipants with appropriate permissions to broadcastlive audio and video to all attendees. File Share pod: Allows hosts and presenters to post fileswhich can be downloaded by attendees. Poll pod: Allows hosts and presenters to conduct pollsor ask questions of attendees. Web Links pod: Lets host post a web link and force allattendees to browse to that link. 5 Title V Symposium

    • 8. Teaching Method To present the lectures using sharerod.  lectures in audio.  give examples using whiteboard, or drawing on tablets.  show programs or running results  record the meeting for those who cannot come. 8 Title V Symposium

Teaching Method (cont) in-class labs, discussions and Q & A  hold a virtual office hour also in Connect  using whiteboard to answer questions  Teacher could share applications, documents, programs to explain the content.  Student could share their programs or labs to me to ask questions during lectures or online labs, teacher could help them to find problems, even debug the programs. 9 Title V Symposium
    • 10. Feedbacks A virtual classroom feels nearly the sameas physical classrooms. Rapid multi-media and audio are displayedat real-time proficiency. Recordings areavailable at any time. Though Video couldbe slow sometimes. Comparable easy to use, even it has alearning curve. It is successful . 10 Title V Symposium
