    2. Environment
      • QITE is a not-for-profit community organisation delivering employment and training services on the Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland.
    3. Training services
      • Both accredited and non-accredited training is offered.
      • Accredited training is delivered under a partnering arrangement with Jobs Australia (the RTO).
    4. The Challenge
      • Students in every nationally-accredited course must complete a course induction
      • The induction contains many common items that must be covered from both the RTO and local organisational perspective
      • Induction informational content is necessary but mundane
      • Learner’s must sign off on having completed the induction
    5. E-learning project solution
      • My e-learning project will be an induction CD resource.
      • The CD will cover the common induction elements of accredited courses.
      • The CD includes multi-mode delivery options to suit the range of styles used for induction delivery
      • The trainer / facilitator will deliver the course-specific information
    6. Induction CD content
      • Examples of induction CD content include:
      • About competency-based training
      • RTO contact details
      • Student responsibilities
      • Trainer responsibilities
      • About training plans
      • RPL / credit transfer
      • LL & N assistance
    7. Multi-mode delivery Used to supplement delivery of induction training by facilitator Used by learner’s as a self-paced activity

      • Induction CD key benefits:
      • Reduce trainer time for induction delivery
      • Provide self-paced option for late arrivals
      • Ensure necessary elements are covered
      • Flexible delivery resource
