  • 4. But spot the problem ... When you are ready, click onto the next slide ... Be a photo-detective … What will happen to the wildlife now? Or now? Or now? Which user groups could be the enemies of wildlife?
  • 5. What can happen ... Almost any user groups could damage wildlife – walkers could trample on plants; careless visitors could set fire to land; cyclists and horseriders and housebuilders could damage habitats. Add some arrows and comments to your “user groups spider diagram”, to show how wildlife can be vulnerable to other user groups on the Quantock Hills

  • 7. And sometimes wildlife needs help crossing roads! So how can we make this better? And keep the Quantocks special? The AONB Rangers do a lot to help protect wildlife. These are RSPB provide bird boxes to encourage nesting birds to stay around, despite disturbance by other user groups But above all ...
